We are currently seeking a dedicated Kitchen Supervisor to join our culinary department. This full-time position offers an annual salary of $76,875 and is designed for an individual who has prior experience working in 4-5 star hotels or restaurants with a strong emphasis on quality and presentation. The role involves supervising and guiding kitchen associates in the preparation of meals for both our fine dining restaurants and banquet services. The Kitchen Supervisor will ensure that food production adheres strictly to the established standards of timing, portion control, food quality, and sanitation. Key responsibilities include overseeing opening and closing procedures of various cooking stations, monitoring inventory levels, expediting food during meal periods, and assisting the Executive Chef with menu and recipe development. This position demands a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and maintain excellent relationships with staff while safeguarding staff and guest confidentiality. Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Suite, are essential for the role. In addition to technical skills, the role requires a robust work ethic, self-initiative, and the physical ability to meet the demands of a dynamic kitchen environment, including standing for extended periods and handling heavy items.
