This Guest Services Concierge role at TriHealth is a pivotal position responsible for enhancing the overall patient and guest experience by addressing non-clinical needs through a centralized, on-demand service. This position focuses on responding promptly and effectively to the needs of patients and their visitors by offering assistance with information, service coordination, errand running, and facilitating store purchases. The Guest Services Concierge acts as an essential liaison, ensuring patients and visitors have seamless access to hospital services and additional TriHealth resources across the continuum of care. The role specifically requires someone who can provide both complimentary and nominal fee services designed to improve the hospital experience, making visits as comfortable and convenient as possible. The Concierge is expected to embody the core values of warm welcoming and helpfulness, serving as a first impression ambassador for TriHealth by consistently exhibiting professional demeanor, positive attitude, and excellent customer service skills. This weekend-only position reports to the Manager of Patient Experience and plays a crucial part in creating a memorable and supportive hospital environment. Daily responsibilities involve coordinating incoming service requests, prioritizing patient and guest needs, and communicating effectively to set and manage expectations. The Concierge also supports patients and families by providing local area information, coordinating hospital services, and offering assistance with business and entertainment inquiries. Additionally, the Concierge serves as an on-call notary for internal and external customers. Flexibility is essential, as the Concierge may be assigned to a primary work location but could occasionally float to other locations within the TriHealth system to meet staffing and service needs. This role requires physical activities such as frequent bending, occasional kneeling, and the ability to lift items, as well as strong interpersonal communication skills and consistent concentration. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a mandatory requirement for this role.
