The Room Service team at Mass General Brigham’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital plays a crucial role in enhancing patient satisfaction by providing timely, accurate, and high-quality food service to patients, guests, and staff. This per diem role operates onsite at the 75 Francis Street location and requires flexibility to work rotating shifts between early mornings and late evenings, including weekends and holidays. Hourly compensation for this position ranges from $17.36 to $21.71, reflecting the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. As part of this role, the Room Service team member is responsible for preparing and delivering patient-specific meals with attention to accuracy and presentation, following all safety and sanitation protocols as defined in the hospital’s HACCP program and local health regulations. This position demands a high level of customer service, effective communication, and teamwork to ensure patient dietary needs are met and food service operations run smoothly.
The responsibilities extend beyond meal preparation and delivery to include tasks such as accurately billing and collecting payments for guest and staff orders, maintaining inventory and sanitation standards, operating kitchen equipment, and assisting in the orientation and training of new team members. - 1-2 years of work experience preferably in food service or customer service
