The available position is for a Front Desk Supervisor, a critical role within the Front Office team, reporting to the Director of Front of House Operations and the Front Desk Manager. This role involves supervising and coordinating the frontline staff including Front Desk Agents, Bell, Valet, Door personnel, PBX, and Concierge teams. The successful candidate will function as the Manager on Duty when senior management is unavailable, handling all operational challenges and ensuring seamless service delivery between 2 pm to 11 pm. The supervisor directs and implements a service and management philosophy that aligns with the resort’s standards and culture, fostering teamwork, employee development, and exceptional guest relations. The position requires working in various environments such as the Front Desk, back office, guest rooms, and public spaces under variable conditions including temperature fluctuations, noise, and exposure to chemicals or allergens. The role demands strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently while maintaining guest confidentiality and operational efficiency. The Front Desk Supervisor oversees training needs, conducts evaluations, monitors staff performance, and ensures compliance with all resort policies and financial controls. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a similar role within luxury or five-star resorts, a high school diploma or equivalent, and proficiency in English. Familiarity with property management systems, cashiering procedures, and yield management is essential. Additional qualifications such as a college degree, fluency in a second language (preferably Spanish), certification in CPR, and guest relations training are advantageous. Physically, the role demands stamina and mobility including standing and walking throughout shifts, lifting luggage, and performing various physical tasks.   • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate
  • Previous experience in cashiering
  • 2 years experience as a Front Desk Supervisor preferably in a 5 star resort
  • Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal
  • Compute basic arithmetic
