As a Group Rooms & Events Coordinator at The Loren Hotel, the role entails managing all reservation calls and email requests on behalf of the sales team while meticulously detailing group activities. The coordinator serves as an essential point of contact ensuring that guests experience a seamless and pleasant interaction marked by professionalism, efficiency, and hospitality. Responsibilities cover a wide range of tasks including answering inquiries via phone, email, or in-person appointments, coordinating meetings and events, managing bookings using Delphi software, and handling group blocks and contract adherence. The position also involves facilitation duties such as meeting with clients in the absence of sales personnel, maintaining accurate records, and processing billing and payments. The coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting internal hotel events and collaborating with third-party vendors to ensure successful event execution. This role requires someone highly organized and able to maintain close communication with the sales team to keep track of group status and resolve any issues promptly. Strong interpersonal communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a customer service orientation are critical for success in this role. Additionally, familiarity with the hotel's services, the surrounding area, and a keen attention to detail are necessary traits. Working hours primarily fall during weekdays with occasional overtime, making this position suited to individuals who value structure yet exhibit flexibility. - High school or equivalent education required
- minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- proficiency with computer systems
- proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
