Greystar is currently hiring for a full-time Maintenance Technician role at one of its stabilized mid-rise communities comprising 241 units. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday and pays between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour. The Maintenance Technician is crucial in maintaining the community’s physical condition, ensuring the grounds and amenities meet the company’s high standards of curb appeal and safety. This role requires hands-on responsibility for inspecting and maintaining the premises, including the removal of litter, debris, and pet waste, keeping common areas clean, and supporting the service team with repairs and service requests. The technician will also handle trash removal from vacant apartments, assist in turning units for new tenants, manage lock changes following property policies, and ensure the safety and functionality of pool gates. Strong communication skills are essential as the technician must provide respectful customer service by answering questions and addressing complaints sensitively. The position demands physical stamina as the technician will be working both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions. They must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift weights up to 25 pounds independently, and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Flexible scheduling is required, including occasional on-call responsibilities during evenings, weekends, and holidays.   • Previous maintenance or property management experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
