This particular role focuses on maintaining the physical aspects of a mid-rise residential community consisting of 260 units, operating on a stabilized schedule. The position is full-time with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and offers an hourly wage ranging between $19.00 and $21.00, with additional compensation opportunities through weekly, monthly, or quarterly bonus programs. The Property Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all common areas, grounds, amenities, and apartments meet Greystar's high standards of cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal. Tasks include daily inspection and removal of litter, debris, and pet droppings, handling routine service requests, assisting with apartment turnover processes, and maintaining safety and security features, such as pool gates and locks. The role also requires distributing communications to residents and reporting any hazards or unsafe conditions to appropriate supervisors to guarantee a safe and welcoming environment for residents, team members, and guests.
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license suitable for operating golf carts on the property, and be physically capable of performing tasks such as standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance. Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays on call is necessary.
