The Receptionist role at Williams Lea operates within this dynamic environment, serving as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff within the office. This position is designed to support the daily operations of the office through effective communication, reception management, and general clerical assistance. Working Monday through Friday from 10 am to 7 pm, the receptionist position offers an hourly pay rate of $23.00, reflecting the importance and professionalism the company places on this role. 
The Receptionist is tasked with managing incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, greeting clients and visitors warmly and professionally, and delivering high-level service to all guests and staff. This individual must maintain a poised and friendly demeanor while coordinating effectively with managers and clients regarding deadlines and job-related issues. There is also an expectation to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and respect, adhering strictly to company and client site policies.
The role also demands the ability to handle a variety of tasks including basic equipment troubleshooting, prioritizing workflow to meet contracted deadlines, and assisting with additional projects as required. The receptionist’s responsibility extends to ensuring cost-efficient use of office equipment and supplies while maintaining an exceptional standard of accuracy and attention to detail in all duties performed.
Successful candidates for this role typically have a minimum of two years’ experience as a receptionist, switchboard operator, or administrative assistant, preferably within sectors such as banking, legal, or large corporate environments. They possess exceptional customer service skills and demonstrate the ability and enthusiasm to learn comprehensive knowledge about Williams Lea’s business and personnel to enhance the quality of their work. The reception area being an integral hub for internal and external communications necessitates excellent verbal and written communication skills, intermediate computer proficiency with tools like Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment.
