Currently, the DuPont Country Club is seeking part-time Golf Beverage Cart Attendants to join its dedicated team. This role is essential in enhancing the golf experience for members and guests by providing prompt and courteous beverage service directly on the golf courses. The attendants operate mobile bar carts, skillfully taking orders and serving drinks while navigating the picturesque course landscape. Candidates must exhibit a pleasant and positive demeanor as they interact with club members and staff, ensuring a high standard of hospitality throughout their service. Beyond serving beverages, the attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and stock of the bar carts, ensuring everything is well-prepared for a smooth and efficient operation throughout the day. Working outdoors for extended periods, sometimes in varying weather conditions, is a key aspect of this role, emphasizing the need for resilience and an enthusiastic work ethic. To be successful in this position, applicants must be at least 21 years of age due to liquor service regulations and should have prior bartending experience along with a current Delaware ABC card. The ability to work independently, operate a golf cart responsibly, and use technology such as F&B point of sale systems and tablets to place orders is fundamental.
