The Server will also set up meal trays, food carts, and dining areas with necessary utensils, condiments, and napkins before and after meals. There is a supportive element in assisting with checking resident trays for accuracy and pouring beverages, alongside providing help with container and condiment handling as required. In addition to meal service, the role involves engaging with residents and guests during special events, including preparing and delivering snacks. The Server role does not include supervisory duties but plays a vital part in the team dynamic, contributing to the overall quality of life within the community. Working conditions may include exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, air contaminants, and hazardous chemicals, as well as environmental elements such as heat from kitchen equipment and cold from kitchen freezers.
