We are currently seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team in a role that is essential for ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for our guests. This position does not require previous restaurant experience, making it an excellent opportunity for those who are eager to begin a career in hospitality. The role involves managing guest seating and waitlists, communicating effectively with guests and colleagues, and embodying our core values through every interaction. The role involves managing the waitlist efficiently and using a paging system to inform guests when their tables become available. You will provide guests with estimated waiting times, seat them according to their preferences while balancing server sections, and ensure guests receive menus and information about their server upon seating. Physical stamina is important in this role, as it involves standing for long periods and bus tables quickly and efficiently when required. Exceptional personal hygiene is crucial.
Emotional intelligence is key to success in this position. Warmly greeting guests, engaging in friendly conversations, accommodating special requests, and creating a positive first and last impression are all part of the job. You will be responsible for answering phone calls promptly and courteously, providing information in a helpful manner, and actively listening to guests and management. Your ability to perceive and understand guests’ needs and social cues will greatly enhance our guests' experience.
