The Front Desk Manager role at Crestline Hotels & Resorts is a pivotal position within the front office department. This full-time position offers a competitive pay range of $21 to $25 per hour and involves overseeing the operations and personnel within the front office, including the front desk, bell/door service, and concierge functions where applicable. The Front Desk Manager is entrusted with ensuring that all front office activities adhere to professional standards and deliver the highest level of service to guests. This role requires hands-on leadership to create a motivated and competent team by actively training, coaching, and providing daily feedback.
The Front Desk Manager plays a vital part in executing strategic planning, maintaining operational excellence, and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities include maintaining comprehensive knowledge of hotel services, room types, rates, and scheduled group activities, as well as overseeing daily operational standards in staffing, cleanliness, service quality, and maintenance. This role demands active monitoring and responding to guest feedback and operational needs while ensuring security in public areas. The manager is also responsible for financial forecasting related to departmental payroll and budgeting.
In addition to daily operational responsibilities, the Front Desk Manager serves as a mentor and leader, supporting employee development through training, performance evaluations, strategic planning meetings, and maintaining consistent staffing standards that align with the company’s goals. This role also includes responsibilities for hiring and selection processes, fostering positive employee morale, and promoting a quality professional workplace. The position sometimes requires stepping into the Front Office Manager role in their absence, demonstrating the importance of this leadership role within the hotel’s front office.

                - High school graduate or general education degree (GED) or work equivalent plus two years of experience in Rooms Division management
