The Kitchen Manager role at SSA Group reports directly to the Food Service Operations Manager(s) and Executive Chef, working within an environment that values exceptional guest service and operational excellence. The position is hourly and non-exempt, with compensation reflecting the applicant's relevant experience and certification or education. This dynamic leadership role is crucial in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring that the back-of-house team is adequately prepared, staffed, and following all safety, quality, and guest service standards. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for various operational tasks ranging from overseeing food safety logs, maintaining sanitation standards, managing personnel duties like training and performance evaluations, to liaising with regional executives to uphold company standards. This position demands a proactive leader skilled in multitasking, problem-solving, and decision-making within a fast-paced environment. The Kitchen Manager must foster teamwork, encourage professional development, and maintain open communication channels both upwards to management and across teams.
