The role of Kitchen Utility Associate – Dishwasher – is a fundamental part of the culinary team within Cogir Senior Living communities. Located in the community’s restaurant, this position ensures that all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized following established health standards. This meticulous attention to laundry and dish cleaning helps maintain a high standard of hygiene essential for meal preparation and service. The Kitchen Utility Associate plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area by sweeping and mopping floors, promptly removing trash and food waste, and cleaning garbage pails and mats. Beyond dishwashing duties, this position supports kitchen staff by replenishing supplies and equipment as needed during meal preparation and service. The associate is also responsible for resupplying chemicals and maintaining towel and soap dispensers to ensure sanitary operations in the kitchen environment. This job requires standing for extended periods, handling repetitive tasks, and working in hot, humid, and wet environments, demanding stamina and attention to detail. Candidates should have the ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and be adaptable to flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
