The Food Server role at Hilton San Francisco Union Square is a dynamic position that plays a critical part in our guests' dining experience. The Food Server is responsible for delivering outstanding guest service through efficiently and courteously serving food and beverages. This role requires a keen understanding of the menu and restaurant promotions, an ability to interact warmly and professionally with guests, and a commitment to upholding Hilton's high standards of service and financial profitability.
In this position, you will respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their dining experience. A comprehensive knowledge of the menu and any current specials will enable you to guide guests effectively. You will take and input orders accurately using the appropriate point-of-sale system and serve food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, according to all federal, state, local, and company regulations. Ensuring the serving station is well-stocked and orderly at all times is also a key part of your duties. This role requires flexibility, as you will need to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
