This involves balancing multiple priorities, optimizing resource allocations for aircraft and instructors, and adjusting schedules in real time to respond promptly to operational challenges such as weather disruptions or maintenance issues.
This role requires a meticulous approach to regulatory compliance, including the tracking and verification of medical certifications, currency of instructors and students, and financial account management to avoid negative flight balances. The Flight Scheduling Manager also handles critical coordination with the Central Kentucky Regional Airport’s Fixed Based Operator, ensuring aircraft availability, hangaring, and smooth daily operations.
