The role of a KC-135 Aircraft Systems and Operational Procedures Instructor at CAE USA Inc. is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of pilot training for the KC-135 aircraft. This position involves delivering comprehensive instruction on aircraft systems and operational procedures through various modalities including classroom teaching, simulator sessions, and hands-on practical environments. The instructor will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing valuable input in the development and continuous improvement of training curriculum and courseware, ensuring that all materials remain current, relevant, and aligned with the latest aviation regulations and operational guidelines. The instructor's responsibilities extend beyond classroom teaching to include training specialized areas such as Visual Threat Recognition Avoidance Training (VTRAT) and Crew Resource Management (CRM), which are critical for enhancing pilot situational awareness and teamwork in high-pressure flight scenarios. Administrative responsibilities are also part of the role, including scheduling, record keeping, monitoring student progress, and conducting quality audits to comply with safety and training standards. The role demands physical readiness to engage in simulator sessions that can last up to six hours a day and the ability to maintain proficiency in essential KC-135 Aircrew Training Devices, instrument operations, and emergency procedures. Candidates must demonstrate extensive flying experience, preferably with a military background, and possess strong facilitation and analytical skills. The position requires a bachelor's degree, prior formal instructor training, and current experience as a KC-135 Instructor or Evaluator Pilot. • Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance
• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents
• Must be able to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints
• Must be able to generate effective oral and written presentations and proposals on complex subjects
• Must be able to calculate figures and amounts, prices, commissions, and percentages, and to draw and interpret graphs
• Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Must be physically able to enter simulator, experience simulator motion, and take cognizance of attendees’ safety when on board the simulator
• Must be able to stand up and conduct academic instruction in simulator and classrooms for up to six hours each day
• Must be able to walk and/or climb stairs and ladder into a simulator or airplane cockpit
• Must be able to stoop, bend, and crawl on top of or under machinery
• Must be able to detect odors or hear noises or other sounds to detect problems or flaws in the functioning of simulators and its surrounding environment
• Must work in a regular office environment
• Must be able to work overtime as required
• Must be willing to work any shift or day of the week as required

• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
