The instructors are expected to stay current with new teaching methodologies to enhance their instructional effectiveness. The position has two levels: Level I and Level II Flight Instructor. Level I requires a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate with the ability to provide flight training in single-engine aircraft, while Level II additionally requires an Instrument Flight Instructor (CFII) rating, allowing for instrument rating flight instruction. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory, and all instructors must hold a valid medical certificate.
