The Fishers Event Center is currently seeking a part-time Food & Beverage Runner to support its catering operations. This role is essential in ensuring that food and beverage services run smoothly during events by assisting with setup, service, delivery, and breakdown tasks. As a Food & Beverage Runner, you will be responsible for timely setup and delivery of suite orders, assisting with placing orders in suites, and helping to break down food items and service equipment post-event. The role requires close attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Physical demands include standing for long periods, moving around the facility, and lifting and transporting items like kegs weighing up to 170 pounds. A valid Indiana Server Liquor License and completion of the Indiana Excise training courses are mandatory. This hourly non-exempt position offers competitive pay between $14 and $16 per hour and provides an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional service at the Fishers Event Center.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid Indiana Server Liquor License and certificate of completion of Indiana Excise training courses
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Must possess knowledge of catering equipment, services, and terminology
- Must possess the ability to take and follow direction, sometimes working independently
- Must possess the ability to pay close attention to detail
- Must possess the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
