Pacers Sports & Entertainment (PS&E) is a prominent sports and entertainment company dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for fans while making a meaningful impact on the community. As the home of the Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever, Noblesville Boom, Pacers Foundation, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse, PS&E embodies core values such as respect, teamwork, trust, passion, and excellence in everything they do. The organization's mission focuses on creating memorable moments for fans and fostering a culture of inclusivity and excellence on and off the court. Their overarching purpose revolves around winning, serving, and entertaining, ensuring every event under their roof delivers top-tier performance and engagement. The Facility Operations role, often called the Conversion Crew and scheduled primarily overnight for the third shift, plays a vital part in the smooth operation of all events at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The position involves transforming the arena floor configurations between events, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall setup and teardown of event-related equipment. Since PS&E hosts a variety of events ranging from NBA and WNBA games to special community activities, this role requires adaptability to work unusual hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and late nights. The Conversion Crew is hands-on with setup tasks that include equipment assembly, preventative maintenance, and custodial duties across the entire Gainbridge Fieldhouse and its external campuses, such as Morris Bicentennial Plaza. The role demands flexibility, physical stamina, and the ability to operate light industrial machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Beyond set-up and tear-down duties, employees in this role help maintain high cleanliness standards both inside and outside the venue, perform routine maintenance, and assist with snow removal during winter months. The position offers an hourly wage of $20.80 and requires team members to be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working within a fast-paced, noisy environment with varying stress levels during high-profile events. There is a strong emphasis on safety and effective communication to ensure the facility's readiness to host world-class sports and entertainment experiences. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy teamwork, and are committed to supporting a prestigious sports and entertainment organization that values community engagement and excellence.
