The role of Community Front Desk Receptionist at Senior Lifestyle is a vital position that serves as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, prospective residents, and vendors within the community. This part-time role requires working weekends on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm, ensuring coverage during busy times when community activity peaks. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting individuals, answering telephone calls, and delivering exceptional customer service that embodies the HEART principles. Additionally, the receptionist supports community safety by monitoring surveillance systems, door alarms, and life safety apparatus, quickly investigating and reporting any unusual occurrences. Administrative duties are an integral part of the position and include processing reports related to work orders, incidents, and other concerns, managing packages and deliveries including prescription medications, and maintaining logs for keys and gate passes. The receptionist also collaborates with various departments to provide administrative assistance as needed, and ensures resident and family concerns are addressed promptly to achieve a high level of satisfaction. Successful candidates for this position will possess strong communication and computer skills, showing proficiency with tools such as Outlook, Excel, and Word. Compassion, professionalism, and the ability to make independent decisions when necessary are essential qualities.
