Unlike traditional restaurant roles, all cooking for these events is completed back at the restaurant, so no cooking is done on site. Team members assist with logistical tasks such as loading and unloading trailers, setting up the selling stations, operating sales during events, and closing down and tallying sales at the end of the day. The role is part-time and ideal for individuals seeking a flexible work schedule during the spring and summer months, with events typically occurring on Friday evenings and Saturdays. The schedule is designed to accommodate work-life balance and personal commitments, providing a respectful and friendly environment where team members can thrive. Responsibilities include selling a limited Chick-fil-A menu, providing friendly and professional customer service with a warm Chick-fil-A hospitality style, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the selling space and company vehicles. Successful team members need to be physically active as the position involves lifting, loading, setting up, serving, and breaking down event spaces.
