The position of Events Coordinator at Faith Church is a full-time role based at the West Palm Beach Campus. This role is central to the church's mission of ensuring the success of all events executed by the ministry. Working closely with the Events Director, the coordinator is responsible for the detailed preparation, planning, benchmarking, and overall execution of church events. The Events Coordinator plays a pivotal role in collaborating with various ministry teams and overseeing Dream Teams—dedicated volunteers who support the church's initiatives. This position requires leadership skills to recruit, maintain, and develop these teams to sustain the ministry's vision effectively. The coordinator’s duties extend beyond logistical management; this position demands creativity, originality, and a high degree of initiative, as it involves invention and imagination in a recognized field of artistic or creative endeavor. Faith Church emphasizes personal spiritual priorities, mandating that the coordinator maintain God-ordained priorities, including dedication to tithing, family, connect groups, and adherence to the church's vision and values. Key responsibilities of the Events Coordinator include aggressively gathering event-related information to achieve quality production, conducting thorough research, managing vendor relationships, preparing event timelines and execution plans, and assisting with budget management and financial reporting. The role also entails managing technical aspects such as staging, lighting, and multimedia presentations, coordinating food and beverage arrangements, scheduling photographers, and ensuring all facilities and event-related contracts are prepared and executed accurately. Dream Team management forms a significant part of the role, requiring the coordinator to build a positive team culture, invest in leadership development, monitor team growth and retention, and ensure preparedness for every event. The coordinator is expected to write and refine policies and procedures while maintaining Faith Church’s cultural values during all departmental activities. The successful candidate must exhibit excellent communication skills, strong administrative capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A background in event planning or related experience is required, with a preference for candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in Events Management or a related field. Faith Church offers a professional office environment with a weekly schedule of about 40-45 hours, including occasional evening and weekend work to accommodate event seasons such as Christmas and Easter. This role is suitable for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys leading teams, and is committed to serving within a faith-based community. The coordinator must be a mature follower of Christ, embodying godly character, integrity, and unwavering loyalty to the church’s vision.
