The Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department at Navy Installations Command (CNIC) on Naval Air Station (NAS) Corpus Christi, TX, is a key provider of community recreation programs and services designed to support the well-being and quality of life of Navy service members, their families, and the greater community. This particular role is integral to the success of the Community Recreation Division's mission, as the incumbent will manage and administer a comprehensive recreation program situated in the ITT office. The position responsibilities involve the planning, promotion, and implementation of a variety of MWR Community Recreation activities, ensuring that programs meet the needs and expectations of the community while adhering to CNIC guidelines and objectives. A bachelor's degree in recreation, marketing, business, or a closely related field is preferred but may be substituted by an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Knowledge of recreational programs, event planning, entertainment, and community needs is essential to successfully execute the duties of the role.
