The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a prestigious cultural institution located in the heart of downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum combines deep subject expertise with ambitious research and the preservation of an unparalleled collection of artifacts. These artifacts showcase the evolving history and traditions of country music, providing diverse learning opportunities through educational programs, publications, and exhibitions. The museum's core exhibit traces the story of country music from its folk origins through to its development as a commercial art form. Rotating exhibits also highlight a broad range of topics, including both classic country artists and contemporary and emerging musicians through the American Currents exhibit. Additionally, the museum owns Hatch Show Print, a historic letterpress print shop established in 1879, and operates Historic RCA Studio B, known for its significance as a recording location for legendary artists such as Elvis Presley. The Events and Culinary Department at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is responsible for executing more than 1,500 annual events, including private gatherings, concerts, and internal programs.
