This current opening is for a Sales and Event Coordinator role at Sage Hospitality Group. The successful candidate will primarily focus on executing all aspects of event planning, including meetings, reunions, social functions, and catering. This role is essential in managing business coordination activities from the signing of group contracts to ensuring that all event details such as direct billing, catering arrangements, VIP needs, amenities, group resumes, rooming lists, and registration cards are meticulously handled. About 75 percent of the position’s responsibilities involve comprehensive event planning. In addition to event planning, the Sales and Event Coordinator will dedicate approximately 25 percent of their time to targeting, capturing, and coordinating catering sales. This dual focus ensures a well-rounded role that contributes directly to the company’s revenue goals. The successful candidate will be tasked with meeting and exceeding revenue targets by developing new catering accounts and managing all components of group business profitably. The Sales and Event Coordinator plays a critical role in account service and management by maintaining accurate and organized files, developing client profiles, and using effective trace systems to anticipate client needs. Building strong relationships with customers and providing exceptional service ensures the retention and growth of group business.
