The role of Event/Catering Manager focuses primarily on driving sales and successful execution of events. This manager is responsible for facilitating bookings generated both internally and through the Triple Seat application, a specialized event management software. Compensation for this position is hourly, complemented by a commission structure that rewards successful booking efforts—5% commission if the event comes through marketing efforts and 10% commission for sales sourced independently by the manager’s proactive market outreach. The position demands a strong sales acumen and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences. Additionally, the position includes responsibilities as Floor Manager for the restaurant during designated shifts. This role involves overseeing the smooth operation of the restaurant floor including conducting pre-shift meetings to set expectations and ensuring excellent customer service delivery throughout the shift. The Floor Manager may also manage scheduling needs for the floor staff, offering flexibility regarding the level of involvement in staffing decisions.
