The position available is for a Part-Time Donut Fryer/Baker at the Perrysburg, OH location. This role plays a vital part in sustaining the high standards Walt Churchill's Market is known for. The Donut Fryer/Baker is responsible for preparing a wide variety of fresh donuts, ensuring each one meets the quality, consistency, and safety standards the market upholds. This includes tasks such as frying, icing, finishing, and preparing special donut orders to meet customer demand. The role is hands-on and requires attention to detail to follow specific recipes and techniques, contributing to the overall bakery operation's cleanliness and efficiency.
In addition to donut production, this role involves making a range of other store-made baked goods such as cookies, rolls, breads, and muffins. Responsibilities extend to the preparation and maintenance of dough, operating bakery equipment safely, and assisting with inventory and merchandising of bakery products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, respect for fellow team members, and a commitment to creating a safe and clean work environment. Shift hours are scheduled primarily during early mornings or overnight, approximately three days a week, including weekends and holidays.                 - Must be at least 18 years of age
 - High school diploma or GED
 - Previous baking experience required (Grocery, Bakery, or Restaurant setting)
 - Experience in a donut shop with a sheeter, preferred but not required
 - ServSafe certification, preferred but not required
 - Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds frequently, and occasionally 65 pounds
 - Must be available to work a baker's shift (overnight/early mornings) and have holiday and weekend availability
