The role of Dishwasher at Invited plays a vital part in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen operations. This position is responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards, supporting the smooth functioning of the food service area. As a Dishwasher, you will operate dishwashing machines, hand wash items as needed, and maintain the organization of the dishwashing station. The role involves assisting kitchen staff by providing clean, sanitized equipment and utensils as required, contributing to food preparation tasks, and adhering to health and safety guidelines. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or Executive Chef, this role demands strong teamwork, attention to detail, proactive communication, and the ability to support a positive team environment. The Dishwasher’s responsibilities also extend to maintaining cleanliness and proper disposal of waste, monitoring inventory and reporting equipment malfunctions, and participating in regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning kitchen surfaces and appliances. This position demands physical stamina due to the nature of the work which includes standing for extended periods, working in varying temperature conditions, and occasionally lifting heavy objects up to 100 pounds. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a dishwashing or kitchen support role
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases
• Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity
