The Ground Training Instructor role at PSA Airlines is a critical position within the company’s training and development team. This role entails responsibility for developing, scheduling, and delivering ground school training modules, as well as recurrent ground school and basic indoctrination for new and current employees. Ground Training Instructors play a vital role in ensuring all training complies with regulatory standards and company policies, with an emphasis on safety and operational readiness. This position also involves creating and revising course materials, managing electronic and printed course ware, and maintaining training documentation. Instructors provide support and guidance to students during training, monitor their progress, and offer additional help or counseling as required. 
In this position, the Ground Training Instructor ensures new hire pilots have met all company requirements and are prepared for simulator check-rides. The instructor also oversees the maintenance and operational effectiveness of key training tools and technology, including instructor-led personal trainers (IPTs), flight training devices (FTDs), iPads, and virtual simulation (VSIM) systems. They act as a communication point for students to resolve issues regarding travel, accommodations, dress code, and behavior during their training period. 
PSA Airlines provides a professional office environment where the Ground Training Instructor is expected to use various standard office equipment and meet specific physical demands, such as standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 25 pounds, and handling materials. To work in this role, applicants must clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check and a pre-employment drug screen, ensuring safety and compliance at all times.
