The Dishwasher/Utility position at Red Lobster plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the restaurant. The dishwasher is also responsible for operating dishwashing machines safely and correctly, keeping kitchen and dining areas clean, and managing waste disposal effectively. This role demands a team-oriented approach, requiring the employee to support cooks with prep tasks, such as helping prepare Red Lobster's signature Cheddar Bay Biscuits, and assisting in general kitchen duties when needed. Success in the role relies heavily on attention to detail, compliance with cleaning and safety protocols, and a commitment to customer and team satisfaction. This is a physically demanding position that requires the ability to stand for extended periods of 8 to 12 hours, bend, reach, squat, and safely lift up to 30 pounds.
