This position is dedicated to ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and back-of-house areas, which are critical to maintaining the high standards of sanitary conditions and operational efficiency that define The Alida. The ideal candidate understands that the foundation of an exceptional dining experience lies in the meticulous upkeep of kitchen equipment and facilities. By maintaining a clean environment and assisting in food preparation when necessary, this individual helps uphold the standards that make our culinary offerings stand out. This role involves the loading and unloading of dishwashing machines and the careful hand washing of specific items such as wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate china. Proper storage of dishes, glasses, and utensils is crucial to ensure a smooth flow during service, particularly during peak operational hours. The candidate must be vigilant in monitoring the functionality of dishwashing machines and promptly reporting any technical or performance concerns to prevent disruption. Efficiency and multitasking capabilities are essential qualities, as the position requires managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
