Invited is a leading company in the hospitality and service industry, renowned for its commitment to building relationships and enriching the lives of members, guests, and employees alike. Established in 1957, Invited has grown to become the largest owner and operator of private clubs nationwide, boasting a portfolio of over 130 country clubs, city clubs, and athletic clubs. These clubs offer first-class amenities such as championship golf courses, modern workspaces, handcrafted cuisine, resort-style pools, state-of-the-art racquet facilities, and fitness centers, among other luxury offerings. Invited prides itself on fostering an inclusive and dynamic team environment, driven by a shared passion for delivering exceptional member experiences. The Director Member Experience role at Granite Bay Golf Club, located in Granite Bay, CA, is an extraordinary leadership opportunity within Invited’s portfolio of private clubs. This role is pivotal in shaping and enhancing the overall member experience, which directly impacts revenue generation, member engagement and spending, retention, and satisfaction. The Director is entrusted with the responsibility of aligning the club’s activities with its strategic plan, creating unforgettable member events and programs that not only increase engagement but also foster a vibrant community atmosphere. In this role, the Director Member Experience will develop and execute a comprehensive member experience strategic plan that focuses on both quantitative outcomes—such as improved member retention and increased average spend—and qualitative aspects like the overall member journey and satisfaction. A key aspect of the position involves overseeing the new member onboarding process, early tenure management, and mitigating risks related to at-risk members, emphasizing long-term retention and loyalty. The Director also serves as the communication strategist, tasked with implementing a multi-channel communication plan to amplify the club’s narrative and promote club initiatives through email, social media, in-club signage, and digital platforms. Supervisory responsibilities include managing the Member Experience team where applicable, including staffing, hiring, training, budgeting, and project management. The Director must continuously innovate member events and experiences to keep pace with evolving member preferences and industry trends, ensuring that the club remains attractive and engaging to its diverse membership base. Collaboration with the General Manager and Department Heads is essential to devise revenue-generating strategies that cross organizational boundaries, enhancing the club’s overall performance. This role demands a visionary leader who is data-savvy, utilizing analytics to monitor trends in member engagement and inform strategy adjustments. The Director must be adept at incorporating feedback from members and committees to tailor experiences that resonate well and drive participation. Effective communication skills are paramount as the Director will be responsible for clear and consistent messaging that promotes transparency and keeps members well-informed about club developments and opportunities. Granite Bay Golf Club offers a unique opportunity to join a respected leader in private clubs hospitality, where your efforts will directly contribute to a thriving member community and a rewarding member experience.
