As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the timely and safe transportation of office supplies along assigned routes, typically scheduled from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The position demands a strong adherence to safety protocols, ensuring that all deliveries and vehicle operations comply with the highest safety standards. You will be an ambassador of the Staples brand, responsible not only for product delivery but also for fostering positive customer experiences by providing support, handling product returns, and addressing any delivery-related concerns. This position entails a blend of physical activity, including loading and unloading products, managing your vehicle’s maintenance and cleanliness, and making sound decisions in varied weather and traffic conditions. Proficiency with digital tools such as GPS navigation and mobile Proof of Delivery (POD) devices is essential to optimize routes and enhance service accuracy. The role offers competitive pay ranging from $22.75 to $25.00 per hour based on experience, along with opportunities for additional earnings through safety-related incentive programs. • Must have a valid drivers license with safe driving record acceptable to the company
• Must remain eligible to drive a commercial motor vehicle under applicable laws
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen (No THC) to the extent legally permissible
• Must obtain a 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role
• Basic English language skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work additional hours including overtime as needed
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs and push/pull items up to 400lbs with assistance
• Must wear safety composite shoes
• Must be at least 21 years of age
