QT is currently seeking a dedicated Store Delivery Driver to join its Charlotte, NC, team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth delivery and distribution of merchandise across QT stores, maintaining supply chain efficiency and supporting the day-to-day operations within the company. The position offers a starting pay of $25.96 per hour during training, with additional bonuses and the opportunity for significantly higher earnings upon obtaining a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). After acquiring a CDL, drivers can expect compensation based on activity including weights, stops, and miles traveled, with earning potential up to $80,000 annually. The schedule may vary including evenings, overnights, holidays, and weekends depending on project deadlines and operational needs. The Store Delivery Driver’s primary responsibility is to transport merchandise safely and in compliance with all QuikTrip policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. This includes delivering items to designated drop-off points, correctly handling and stacking products, and ensuring efficient loading and unloading procedures. This role demands physical stamina, as drivers will lift up to 60 pounds in product totes and sometimes move up to 300 pounds with a two-wheeler. Attention to detail and safety are paramount since proper adherence to company protocols and legal standards is critical in maintaining quality service and a strong company reputation.
