In the role of a Customer Service Agent, you will assist passengers with their baggage pick-up and help resolve issues related to delayed, lost, or damaged items. Utilizing specialized software, you will track and catalog luggage with precision to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Customer interaction must be handled with class and professionalism to uphold the company’s reputation for excellent customer service. Physical strength and stamina are important for this position, as you will be expected to lift, carry, push, pull, and move heavy items regularly, including weights of 40 to 70 pounds, sometimes up stairs or raised surfaces. The ability to stay alert to surroundings, including moving vehicles and aircraft, is critical for safety and operational efficiency. Employees must also be willing to complete ramp and SIDA training necessary to obtain airport authority identification and security clearance. - Must be a local (in-state) resident
- high school diploma or GED
- valid in-state driver’s license
- ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- ability to pass up to a 10-year background check
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security
- must be able to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs
- must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment
