The role of Warehouse Janitorial Associate at KBS is a full-time, permanent position that plays a critical part in maintaining safety and cleanliness in fast-paced warehouse environments. This position offers shifts during both days and nights, including weekends, with typical working hours from 7am to 6pm or from 7pm to 6am. The starting pay for this role is competitive at $16.35 per hour. Warehouse Janitorial Associates are responsible for cleaning designated work areas, which include restrooms, break areas, office spaces, and various indoor and outdoor locations within the warehouse facility. The role demands attention to detail as associates sweep, mop, dust, remove trash, and ensure all walkways and common areas are tidy throughout their shifts. In addition to routine cleaning tasks, associates may be called upon to perform deep cleaning activities as needed. Associates must adhere strictly to safety and quality standards, following established protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment. This is a physically demanding position that requires standing and walking for extended periods, sometimes up to 10-12 hours a day, as well as the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 49 pounds. Employees must be willing to engage in repetitive motions involving eye/hand coordination, foot pedals, manual picking, pinching, grasping, and wrist movements. Additionally, associates are expected to comprehend safety documentation, operating manuals, procedures, and chemical handling instructions, predominantly in English but occasionally in Spanish where required. The use of the KBSPresence mobile app is mandatory for clocking in/out, attendance tracking, training completion, and communication, with an accompanying cell phone reimbursement policy compliant with local laws.
