Currently, Northwest Center is seeking dedicated Corporate Receptionists to provide exceptional on-site support at the Amazon HQ2 campuses in Baltimore, MD. This role is vital as the first point of contact for visitors and employees, providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere that reflects the high standards of both Northwest Center and Amazon. The position requires a passionate self-starter who excels in customer service and can perform a wide range of administrative duties, ensuring smooth daily operations while contributing to a positive and memorable visitor experience.
As a Corporate Receptionist, your responsibilities will include greeting and checking in guests, distributing visitor badges, managing office supplies, and assisting with various logistical tasks such as organizing meeting spaces, handling deliveries, and liaising with security. You will also support Amazon's recruiting processes by managing legal forms and directing new hires for their onboarding activities. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to resolve conflicts quickly, and the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
This full-time position offers an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday, with hours scheduled between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM. The hourly wage ranges from $21.59 to $25.70, commensurate with experience. - Two 2+ years of experience in customer service call center or administrative support
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively deescalate situations with dissatisfied customers
- Strong conflict resolution critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand interpret and follow Northwest Center NWC and Amazon’s policies and procedures
- Ability to frequently carry and lift a backpack containing a laptop and other supplies up to 50 pounds
- Ability to move consistently within a 1.5 radius is required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business including occasionally arriving early staying late on a moment's notice and occasional evening and weekend shifts
- Willingness to work in a dog friendly environment with over 1 000 dogs on campus
