The role of Concierge at Oakmont of Pacific Beach is a part-time position, offering shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 4 pm to 8 pm, with pay ranging from $17.25 to $18.50 per hour. The Concierge serves as the welcoming face of the community, responsible for greeting visitors, fulfilling resident requests, arranging tours, managing a multi-line phone system, and providing clerical support to the administrative staff. This position requires a person with excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, team members, and healthcare professionals. Maintaining safety and security, managing the business center, and ensuring a professional and warm environment are essential aspects of the role. The Concierge helps foster a cooperative and supportive atmosphere through teamwork and interaction with co-workers and other departments, embodying the company’s mission to provide five-star service and promote meaningful connections within the senior living community.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- excellent customer service skills
- possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
