The Concierge / Front Desk position at Artis Senior Living is a pivotal role that requires a warm and professional individual to serve as the first point of contact for all guests and visitors. This part-time role offers a starting pay of $19 per hour and requires availability every other weekend from 11 am to 7:30 pm. Employees in this position are expected to maintain a professional dress code and demonstrate outstanding customer service skills, especially in working with an elderly population. The concierge is responsible for greeting guests, handling incoming phone calls, managing mail and package distribution, and providing clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the community's front desk. Additionally, the role involves creating positive partnerships with residents, their families, healthcare providers, vendors, and team members to foster a welcoming and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically. They must be capable of managing emergency situations calmly and professionally while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front lobby and entrance areas. This role also requires the ability to manage administrative tasks such as maintaining guest logs and updating community resources, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the living community.
