As a Concierge at Sunrise Senior Living's Whispering Chase community, you become the welcoming face and first impression for prospective residents, families, and visitors. This role is essential in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, which reflects Sunrise’s overall mission to empower residents to live longer, healthier, and happier lives. The Concierge plays a key part in ensuring smooth communication between visitors and community leadership, effectively assists in the recruitment process, and handles multiple administrative tasks that maintain the efficiency and charm of the community.
In this position, your responsibilities will extend beyond mere greetings; you will manage telephone inquiries, coordinate appointments for residents and their families, and uphold community safety protocols. You will support the sales and marketing team by managing initial interest from potential residents and their families, ensuring a seamless process from inquiry to move-in. Additionally, maintaining the front desk and Bistro areas with professionalism and care is vital to sustaining a welcoming environment.
The Concierge role blends customer service expertise with administrative precision, requiring proficiency in technology and interpersonal communication. You will act as a critical link to the community's leadership, supporting the Director of Sales and Executive Director. At the same time, your ability to multitask and handle various priorities ensures that the daily operations of the community front desk and Bistro run smoothly, contributing to an outstanding resident and guest experience.

- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience and skills
- Proficiency with computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), and Sunrise applications
- Ability to learn new software applications
- Must pass drug testing and meet health screening requirements
- Compliance with Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination mandates as applicable
- Must understand safety protocols for driving a Sunrise vehicle, if applicable
- Ability to handle multiple demands and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and perform administrative duties accurately
