The specialist will be responsible for operating ground service equipment and performing aircraft ground services while maintaining a service-first mindset. The job requires flexibility with schedules that include nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to work in outdoor environments with active aircraft and varying weather conditions. This position offers an hourly pay range of $20.00 to $23.50, depending on factors such as skill sets, education, shift worked, responsibilities, seniority, geographical market, merit, output, productivity, prior training or experience, and travel. The Airside Experience Specialist will be integral in conducting airside operations safely and efficiently, collaborating closely with team members, guests, clients, vendors, and aircraft crewmembers. The responsibilities span from fueling, de-icing, lavatory services, ground power, to towing and marshalling. Beyond technical tasks, the role demands proactive safety awareness, operation of various ground service equipment, loading and unloading of luggage and cargo, and providing courteous transportation for guests. The specialist also will manage the cleanliness and security of ramp operations, handle fuel quality control and inventory, and adhere to all operational, safety, and security protocols. Safety is paramount, and the specialist is empowered to stop work under unsafe conditions and follow emergency response procedures during critical events. Effective communication skills and record-keeping are also essential elements of the role.   • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass company background checks including criminal and motor vehicle, and drug tests
  • Meet airport background check requirements and maintain airport security badge
  • Be insurable under company insurance policies
  • Legal authorization to work in the jurisdiction of employment
  • Excellent vision and coordination including ability to pass color vision test
  • Valid state driver’s license, commercial driver’s license (CDL) if required
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and follow management directives
  • Preferred 3 to 6 months experience or training in aviation, customer service or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to operate motor vehicles and ground support equipment
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to complete computer-based training modules successfully
