The available position is for a Casino and Spa Janitorial Attendant, a critical role responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the casino and spa facilities. The role’s primary duty involves maintaining a pristine environment by removing trash continuously throughout the casino and spa, including areas between slot machines and various trash receptacles. The janitorial attendant will operate and maintain cleaning equipment, provide cleaning supplies and premixed chemicals to other employees as needed, and uphold the outside appearance of the casino including snow and ice removal, demonstrating a commitment to safety and guest satisfaction. The role requires proactive monitoring and cleaning of all parking lots, including the hotel lot, to manage trash and cigarette waste efficiently. Further responsibilities include vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors within the casino and spa premises, cleaning and sanitizing guest and employee restrooms while keeping them fully stocked with personal care items, and maintaining cleanliness in various spa areas such as treatment rooms, relaxation zones, locker rooms, lobbies, wet rooms, pool decks, fitness centers, and yoga rooms. The janitorial attendant must ensure that all cleaning activities comply with safety procedures, involving the use of safety equipment and the reporting of any unsafe conditions. Regular and reliable attendance is essential, as consistent punctuality and presence contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the business. The janitorial attendant also plays a key role in fostering good public relations with guests and employees, serving as a source of information and contributing to a safe environment. This position requires physical stamina due to the nature of the responsibilities, including lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing and walking. Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour, with additional shift differentials for overnight shifts, reflecting the company's commitment to rewarding hard work and dedication.
