This role focuses on preparing juices and other specialty products for purchase, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and customer engagement. The position requires setting up and preparing the food product area, understanding detailed program scopes and compliance instructions, and maintaining safe food handling, preparation, and packaging standards. The employee will also be responsible for conducting product demonstrations and sampling events to support business needs, adhering strictly to all equipment safety guidelines, and performing cleanliness and maintenance duties in the work area. The job involves physical demands such as lifting up to 50 lbs multiple times a day, moving heavy machinery weighing between 50-600 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in environments with exposure to cold refrigerated conditions and hot equipment. Excellent communication skills are essential to effectively interact with customers and colleagues, and the ability to read and understand safety and food handling instructions is crucial. This role is placed within a retail store environment characterized by moderate to high noise levels typical of retail warehouse operations. No supervisory responsibilities are required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in product marketing, demonstrations, or related food, beverage, or restaurant industries, and must hold applicable state and local food safety certification or licenses.
