The Executive Chef position at Hard Rock Sacramento at Fire Mountain is a critical leadership role responsible for the comprehensive management of all kitchen operations and food services. The incumbent is tasked with planning and designing menus that resonate with guest preferences and market trends, ensuring that each dish served is both high-quality and aligned with Hard Rock’s brand image. This role includes procurement responsibilities, sourcing food supplies and kitchen equipment through approved suppliers and carefully monitoring the quality of all received items to maintain consistency and excellence. A key component of the position involves supervising, motivating, and training kitchen personnel to uphold the highest standards of culinary craftsmanship and guest service. The Executive Chef works closely with the catering sales manager and clients to create customized menus for special events, tailoring offerings to enhance the guest experience and meet diverse client needs.   • Must obtain and maintain all licenses and certifications per federal state and gaming lottery regulations
  • must successfully pass background check
  • must successfully pass drug screening
  • must be eighteen 18 years of age
  • completion of high school diploma or equivalent
  • degree from a certified food service program or apprenticeship or culinary school
  • previous supervisory experience
  • 5 years experience as Executive Chef in a 4 star or 5 star establishment with conference and banqueting facilities
  • knowledge of pertinent laws codes and regulations
  • knowledge of health and sanitation standards
  • proficiency with kitchen operations and tools
  • strong communication and leadership skills
