The Catering Event Manager (On Site) plays a critical role in the success of Terranea’s events by managing the complete lifecycle of small meetings, social events, and group catering functions. This full-time position demands a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. Acting as the main liaison between clients and the resort’s internal teams, the Catering Event Manager ensures every aspect of an event is carefully planned, coordinated, and flawlessly executed. Responsibilities include sales and servicing of events to maximize revenue, conducting site tours, preparing detailed proposals and banquet event orders, and collaborating closely with culinary, banquet, and operations teams. This role requires exceptional communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain client relationships, proactively upsell services, and handle any event issues promptly to guarantee client satisfaction.   • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in catering, conference services, or event management, preferably in a hotel or resort environment

  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with a high level of detail and organization
