This position is a non-exempt catering and driving role that starts at minimum wage plus tips, offering a competitive and rewarding pay structure for those passionate about serving others. This role requires an individual who is highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to creating memorable experiences for guests by ensuring every catering event runs smoothly and efficiently. As part of a dynamic team, you’ll collaborate closely with immediate colleagues, management, and kitchen staff (referred to as the Heart of the House Team). Essential duties involve careful execution of catering preparations, managing delivery logistics, and delivering excellent customer service. You will often operate independently but may take direction from a lead caterer during larger events, adhering strictly to company policies, safety protocols, and health standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working both collaboratively and autonomously to exceed customer expectations while promoting teamwork among all staff members.

- able to communicate clearly
- speaks and reads English
- has or obtains California Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service certifications before commencing work
- certification must be maintained throughout employment
- has an exemplary driving record if driving for us, including participating in the DMV Pull Records program
- able to drive company vehicles
- has reliable personal vehicle covered by liability insurance with limits as determined by company policy
- must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds
- can work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- able to work unsupervised
- must be confident and an excellent problem-solver in a variety of situations
