We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in the role of Cashier, also internally referred to as Front End Team Member. This is a regular, paid position with an hourly wage ranging from $14.05 to $19.66, depending on experience and market location. The role of Cashier is vital in shaping the customer experience by ensuring that each visitor receives efficient and friendly service. Cashiers are responsible not only for processing transactions but also for delivering personalized customer interactions that promote loyalty and satisfaction. While the primary focus is on handling sales transactions accurately and efficiently, this position also includes opportunities to assist as a sales associate or stock associate, providing a versatile and dynamic work environment. The successful candidate will engage with customers by greeting them warmly, answering their questions, and informing them about ongoing promotions and loyalty programs. They will be trained in product knowledge, specifically in wines, spirits, and beers, to better assist shoppers and enhance sales. In addition to customer-facing duties, Cashiers play a significant role in maintaining the store's overall appearance by adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. Compliance with all laws and regulations related to alcohol sales is strictly enforced to maintain a safe shopping environment. This position requires a flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends, reflecting the operational demands of the retail environment. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting moderately heavy items, and sometimes working under various weather conditions if involved in external stock activities.
