This part-time Cashier position is located at the Goodwill retail store in Bellevue. The role involves managing sales transactions efficiently and delivering exceptional customer service. The hourly pay rate for this role is $14.50, reflecting Goodwill's commitment to fair compensation for its staff. The Cashier will be a key front-line representative of the organization, responsible for operating a computer-based point of sale system, handling cash and credit card transactions accurately, and ensuring a balanced cash drawer at the end of shifts. Moreover, the Cashier will assist customers with pricing inquiries and purchases, leveraging suggestive selling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience.
Beyond transactional responsibilities, the Cashier will contribute to maintaining an attractive and well-organized sales floor by stocking product shelves, organizing racks, attending to dressing rooms, and keeping the retail environment clean and safe.
