This role is a Customer Service Associate position within Williams-Sonoma stores, which plays a critical part in delivering outstanding retail experiences. As a Customer Service Associate, you will be the face of the company in stores, responsible for creating and maintaining a lively and upbeat environment that attracts and retains customers while fostering teamwork among colleagues. The position requires engaging customers at the cash wrap, processing transactions accurately and efficiently including sales, returns, and exchanges, and ensuring proper pricing of merchandise. You will also be responsible for managing customer expectations by providing clear communication about products, care instructions, delivery details, and promotions. A key aspect of the role involves personalized sales techniques designed to affirm client purchases and suggest complementary items, thereby enhancing the shopping experience and driving sales. Maintaining visual standards at the cash wrap and ensuring the availability of supplies are also essential duties.

- ability to operate POS system
- ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business
- part-time flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Thursday)
- weekend availability cannot fall on the same day
- an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday)
